Wow, February is almost over, didn't it go fast! I was reading my February's Stampin' Success magazine, a magazine that demonstrators get each month with lots of information and ideas. They had an article about the stamp set,You're my Type. Now, you know I love that set and when I saw the card they made with it, I just had to case it. I changed the colour from Old Olive to Island Indigo and everything else stayed the same.
Isn't it a cool card! Now the part that intrigued me, was the paper in the typewriter, take a closer look
Yes, there are letters on it, made with the A - Z background stamp but just how is it done? Mask it! I stamped the typewriter onto the Very Vanilla in Early Expresso and then stamped it again onto a post it note. I cut out the parts that were the paper and then placed the mask over my stamped image. Ink up the A - Z stamp with Sahara Sand and stamp. Remove the mask and voila-a page that looks like it was typed. Once you make your mask, pop it in your stamp case and use it over and over.
Happy Stamping,
