The sentiment from the set Upsy Daisy is a perfect goodbye to all the fabulous stamp sets that are retiring tonight.

This set has seen alot of ink in my house, from Emboss Resist, Shadow Stamping, Versamark watermark backgrounds and believe it or not, just plain stamping, this is the set to have.  

If you haven't checked out the retiring stamp sets and accessories list, you have till 11PM tonight to place an order before they are shipped off to the rubber stamp retirement community.

Another Technique

Who would of thought, that there would be so many different techniques to make your cards and scrapbook pages had that WOW factor and the best part about most techniques is they are super simple.  Today's technique, Emboss Resist. 

Using glossy cardstock, stamp your image in Versamark and then emboss using White embossing powder.  Using a Stampin' Sponge, rub on your choice of ink or inks.  DONE, I told you it was easy!

Upsy Daisy Birthday

Texture and color make this card.  The Chocolate Chip cardstock has been ran through the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dot impressions folder and then Pumpkin Pie ink for the image and sentiment and Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the matting

 Simple but colorful, is sometimes all you need.

Have you ever

made a card, and thought, what was I thinking?  This card is one of those, but it is growing on me.  Firstly the colors are not my style.  Now, don't get me wrong, Chocolate Chip is a great color but I like to pair it with greens and pinks.  This time I paired it with More Mustard which I will admit, I really try to use, but so often unsuccessfully.  This card is growing on me

The card sketch came from Pam Staples on SUDSOL as part of Chat and Challenge.  I used Upsy Daisy stamp set, stamping once and then again without reinking to give a shadow.  The bottom of the More Mustard layer is scalloped using the FREE Sale-a-bration punch and I have used some of the gorgeous Chocolate Chip satin ribbon from the Occasions Mini with More Mustard Grosgrain ribbon layered on top.

Upsy Daisy

It's funny I have had this stamp set for a year, it sat sadly in the stamp cupboard but  lately it has seen alot of ink.  This card represents autumn to me, with its colors. I have used spongeing to color the sky and a little glitter to highlight the flowers.

Another Upsy Daisy Wow card

Here is another of the cards that we made at my last technique workshop.  This is Black Magic technique using White Craft ink, watercolor pencils and glitter.  For the background we used Groom Speciality paper, it is lovely and so thick.
