Want the best paper cutter?

Now if you are like me, you have several, the one I got before I discovered Stampin' Up, the one I bought to replace it because it didn't do a good job, and then Stampin' Up came into my life.  I now have the best cutter-EVER!

Believe me, that is the truth, but I have a couple of tips to make it just a bit better.  I found sometimes I would end up with crooked pieces of paper-cleanly cut but crooked.  For me, that was not happiness. Then one day I discovered using a triangle ruler and my cutter, made straight cuts

Line the ruler to the measurement you want, insert your paper, hold down the pressure bar and chop.

So simple, so great.

Happy Valentine's Day

This stamp set was slow to see ink, but I will say, I am glad I waited- this card is perfect for Valentine's, don't you think.

This one is for my hubby, hope he likes it as much as I do.  I was going for lots of texture, the sentiments are embossed, the layer is ran through the Big Shot using the Lattice Impressions folder and the colours Crumb Cake, Real Red and Basic Black, great combination.  

Now the center is really a maze- you reemember those things we used to play with when we were kids, rolling the little balls around till they got to the center, so now he has something to do while he waits for me!
