Margaret Moody is a fellow Stampin' Up demonstrator and when I saw this card that she made, I knew that I had to case it.
I cased this card totally, colours, Riding Hood Red , Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. Well, did this one and I could not stop
Regal Rose , Rose Red and Very Vanilla
Elegant Eggplant, Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink
And finally, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade and Crumb Cake.

you know the type, you come up with an idea and man, fabulous so you set to making it. Hmmm, not working so good, change your colours, think well maybe, just maybe this is going to work. Finish the card, hmmm, how come in my head it looked better?!
Yes, that is today's card. Truthfully I don't think there is anything "wrong" with it, but it just isn't "right" either.
I used Poppy Parade for the card base and stamped Sweet Floral background stamp onto Sahara Sand and clear embossed. This is where I think I made my mistake, I probably should have reversed it, so Sahara Sand for the base and Poppy Parade for the layer. I then used a sponge dauber and Poppy Parade ink and covered the Sahara Sand layer of course the clear embossing resisted the ink so I got Sahara Sand flowers.
Now do those flowers look good or dead?
A bit of Chantilly ribbon brightens up the top of the card.

I just love the new background stamp, Sweet Floral. Now I am not a gardener, just in case you forgot so I don't know what kind of flowers these are but I am going to say these are nice! This stamp may be classified as a background stamp but it sure makes a good focal point too.
Again, I used my Colour Coach for the colour combination, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. The image is stamped in Elegant Eggplant so it just pops off the page and notice that ribbon, it sure looks like it matches that Lucky Limeade but really it is the now retired 5/8" Grosgrain in Old Olive.
