card making quick and easy. Now, you have heard me talk about casing before, (Copy & Share Everything) and while you don't have come up with the design of the card, you can definitely make it your own by changing colours or images. Today, is a card that I cased from our Stampin' Success magazine and was a challenge on SUDSOL.
It uses our Tag It set, a great set that helps raise money for Ronald MacDonald House Charities and it has coordinating framelits(Chalk Talk) so you can quickly cut out the images. Here is my case of the card
I used the same card base, Crumb Cake cut 3 x 6, love making different sized cards and I used the Silver Glimmer paper strip. I didn't have the DSP ( I know that is hard to believe with all the DSP I have!) so I used the Polka Dot Parade pack and then I used our Silver Metallic Encore pad for the outer part and then marker coloured the Santa. And just how did I do that, I stamped the entire image in the silver, cut it out with our framelits, then coloured up the Santa with my Real Red & Basic Black markers, and just cut that piece out in a square and attached it over the silver. The only thing that I found fussy with this card, the Baker's Twine bow. I didn't want the twine on the inside of the card so I put it under the Silver Glimmer paper and then attached the papers to the card. CASING- quick & easy card making!
