Fox Builder Punch

I love Stampin' Up punches and I sure to have a lot of them and use them constantly.  One of this years new offerings was the Fox Builder Punch. It has a coordinating stamp set

And you can get it as a bundle for $50.75  Foxy Friends Bundle 142326.

Great set, lots of animals, fox, cat, raccoon, squirrel but Stampin' Up demonstrators, don't stop with the animals that are in the stamp set, nope, you've got a punch so the animals keep coming. I am not sure who thought of a mouse, but it has been floating on the internet so I just had to make him.

How cute is this?  Just trim off the ears, trim down the tail, add some ears with our 1/2" and 3/4" circle punch and you have a mouse in the house!   

And what about a slightly different fold for this card, use your standard size card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 1 1/2" and  4 1/4" and fold the 1 1/2" back onto the front of the card, add a little DSP and you have a very simple but wow, fancy fold.

Getting punchy!

Check out these cute little reindeer tags, just a little stamping and lots of punching.  Stampin' Up really does have the best punches, easy to use and thanks to many talented stampers, basic punches turn into beautiful things that they were not intended for.  Like the antlers, those are really the tree from the Tree builder punch and his head-it's a owl!  I have to thank Dena Rekow for sharing this little guy

The tag itself is also punched using our Scalloped Tag Topper punch and don't they look cute attached to a gift.

More Punch Art

A happy lion on this card gurding the glitzy #1.  I used So Saffron and retired More Mustard for this guy.  The Blossom punch for his mane & feet, 1 3/8" circle for his head, 3/4" circles for his cheeks and the owl punch for his eyes and nose.  The #1 was free hand cut out of our beautiful Red Glimmer paper and again Remembering your birthday for the sentiment.

Just Punch it

He' just too stinkin' cute!

I showed you a Minion card I made before, with little punched Minions but I saw on SCS a Minion card made by Rae of Wildwest Paper arts, I just had to try it.  Rae's card used only one eye and silver Glimmer paper, really cute.

I used So Saffron for the card base, freeing hand cutting the top sides into a minion head shape and made the card 5" tall to allow for the hair to stick up and still fit in a envelope.  The Pacific Point coveralls are simply a rectangIe with marker stitching and the straps just strips attached with Basic Black brads (using up my retired stuff).  I needed a card for my 6 year old niece, who had a pretty bad fall.  I hope this puts a smile on her face and you know, I think now she will listen never jump on the couch again!

No time to make a card

A little Big Shot

a Pop 'n Cuts Die, some punches and framelits and I have a pretty sweet birthday card.  I had so much fun making this card, so many different elements, all easy. The Pop n' Cuts die makes pop up cards so easy to make, first cut the card base with the die with no insert and you get a fancy edge with tabs to tuck in so that your card stays closed, no matter how much stuff you put in the middle!  The Polariod look is pretty popular right now so I knew I wanted to use it and our Square Framelits make quick work out of making one.  I used our Remember rotary stamp to add the date and the Minion is made from punches.  Check the internet, there are lots of ideas to make this guy, I used our owl punch  for the overalls as others have and rectangle for the body rounding the top corners.  The hair is handcut and the feet and hands are the owl punch feet.  

 

The sentiment is from Remembering your Birthday, a great set that has messages that are for the inside and outside of cards.

  

And inside there is a party going on!  I used the Label Pop'n Cuts die for the inside and  cut off an inch on either end and added the Pacific Point strip. The Deco Labels framelits are designed for this die and layer so beautifully.  Another punch art minion and some fun banners finish it off.

Quick & Easy

Punch art

Stampin' Up has a incredible assortment of fabulous punches.  They are perfect for punching out sentiments and images but they are also the best for making punch art.  This card is for a special little guy who really got hurt and while the card will not make him better, it may put a smile on his face.

Even before I knew what I was going to make, I knew the stamp set I wanted to use, Petite Pairs, and the sentiment "sending a Kiss" and inside "to make it better"  The bear is punched in Soft Suede cardstock using the following circle punches, 2 1/2", 1" and 1/2".  Even the nose is made with the 1/2" circle punch and just punching on the edge of a piece of Basic Black cardstock making a 1/4 circle.  The "bandaids" are made with our Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack, I used the cross looking one and then just cut the rounded parts off with my paper snips.  Making punch art is so easy, but it is important to remember to sponge the edges of your shapes with ink to give dimension.

It's a simple case of C.A.S.E

What is C.A.S.E- it stands for Copy and  Share everything.  Well, Share is what fellow demo Beth Beard did when she shared these Lalaloopsy punch art.  I just could not resist the urge to copy!

Perfect for a little girl turning 5, don't you think.  I used Melon Mambo for the base and then Pumpkin Pie for the accenting colour.  I used our 3" circle die and my beloved Big Shot, 1/2" circle punch and 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punches. Our wonderful Dotted Melon Mambo ribbon was pefect for the bows.  The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake and coloured with Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink & blender pen and my Basic Black Marker for the mouth and eyelashes.The Scallop Trim border fancies up the Pumpkin Pie matting. Just Punch it

no, not with your fists, but how about making some gift tags with just punches.  These little guys are super quick and super cute.

You need the following punches

Corner Rounder, 1', 1/4", 13/8" circle punches, small scallop punch and either the retired Snowflake punch or the Snow Flurry Big Shot die

I started with a 3 x 6 piece of Soft Suede, folded to form a 3 x 3 gift tag.  Basic Black, Whisper White, Early Expresso, Red Red Glimmer paper noses (except I ran out of it so one of them is just Real Red and then Soft Suede DSP for the antlers.  

 

The Early Expresso hair fringe covers the antler attachment so everything is clean inside.  Use your Gold or Silver markers to write inside.

It is a good addiction

There are so many different types of addictions, and playing computer games is one of them.  I resisted the craze for a long time but I too succumbed to the well, I will try it just once.  Once turned into a hour, then two. Yes, that ferry trip went fast!  And just what am I talking about?  Angry Birds

This guy and his friends,have made trips go much faster.  I try really hard to not play when I am at home-I mean hours just fly by, you know, I can finish this level, oh, this level looks easy.  Well, one thing I will say, this card is easy.  Just punches and a Big Shot die, and yes, these easy cards can be addicting too.
