January has always been a long month for me, but for some reason this year it is flying by, not because I am busy, because truthfully when we moved here we slowed down, really slow. We used to work a sixty five hour week at a minimum and now a 20-30 hour week so it is so much better. Maybe it is because there isn't as much grey, dreary, rainy sky as there is on the coast your mind naturally is happier. I told you that I got my Paper Pumpkin on Friday and did get a chance to play with it. This set coordinates with Animal Outing, one of my favourite sets and first up was to make the kit just as it was intended to be made. The kit has enough supplies to make 24 pillow boxes with goodies remaining.
Just like our DSP, these pillowboxes are reversible so they can be made either Melon Mambo or Pool Party. The kangaroo and chameleons are already to punch out along with the hearts and scalloped circles. The pretty little epoxy hearts are included. How sweet are these, They are a good size, 2x 4 so they will hold a bit of candy but not enough to break the bank. Not a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber? You really should give it a try, a box of fun delivered to your door every month containing everything you need for 30 minutes of fun. The kits include glue dots, ink, dimensionals and your first kit includes a clear stamping block to put the stamps on. Portable, everything included. And they always have more stuff than you need for the projects so you can save them or use them on other projects. And Sale-a-bration is the best time to get Paper Pumpkin.
