that my stamping friends are making today. Stampin' Up has had Red Glimmer paper since the Holiday Mini last year, and this year they added Silver Glimmer paper. What makes SU Glimmer paper better than the Glitter paper you can buy from some other unnamed big box stores? First it is 12 x 12 and you can buy either red or silver. The sheets do not crack when you bend them and they really are kind of soft to the touch when you compare them to the other ones. But you say, only Red or Silver, I want blue. No problem, use your reinkers and your aquapainter and paint the silver glimmer paper what ever colour you desire or if you want black, use your Stazon reinker and sponge it on. Now y ou can have any colour of glimmer paper you desire.
I totally cased the card from fellow demo, Jill Olsen, only changing the sentiment and embossing my sentiment.
Now we are just using Silver and Red Glimmer paper and notice how it just pops off the Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment is from Many Merry Messages and the bow on the present, punched with our Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch with a Basic Rhinestone to add just a bit more bling. While our Glimmer paper is fabulous, attaching it can be fun, but use Tombow adhesive and it sticks. Inside, more Silver embossing
These cards are quick and easy but look like a million bucks, perfect cards for those certain people on your card list (you know you know them-oh, homemade cards really aren't my thing).
