Quick and easy

is the card for today.

Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, a bit of Regal Rose DSP and some gold embossing and you are done.  Well, not quite.  First I stamped the large heart from Love You Much with Versamark onto Melon Mambo and embossed with gold.  It just didn't look right so I then did the same on Pretty in Pink.  Still not right, so I cut the edge off the Pretty in Pink heart and layered it with dimensionals onto the Melon Mambo heart.   That gave it the look I was seeking, but I think it would be beautiful using the Stampin' Up! Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die and a heart punched from the full heart punch and then ran through the Textured Impressions folder, Perfect Polka Dots, both from the Occasions Mini. Do you recognize the ribbon?  It is the Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon reversed as it just didn't look right with the dots.

Reasons for cleaning up your desk

Stops you from using the same color scheme two days in a row!! Well, it's almost the same, I ran out of Kraft so this one is Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.

But I must say, I really love the Black and Melon together.  This card uses the new Black Satin Ribbon and it is beautiful.  I am loving the sunshine and warmth (even though it is cold for here!!) so I guess that is the reason for using hearts two days in a row too.

Shaking things up

With a Shaker card.  And yes, it is crooked but I am blaming that on my cold medication.  I fixed it three times so this was perfect!

Here is a close up of the shaker part, I found this confetti in a ziplock bag carefully placed in a box, where they came from is beyond me but I knew they would be perfect for this.

The last Special of the Week

Is the Heart to Heart punch 113694 regularly $22.95 on sale for $15.99.  This punch punches out three different hearts and ties into the stamp set Love You Much 113756.  I cased this card from Mary Davidson with a few changes.

The sentiment is from Chit Chat rub ons (now that doesn't surprise you does it?) and the ribbons are Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain and Whisper White organza ribbon. The two hearts under the ribbon are two of the hearts from the punch but what this picture doesn't show is

Yes, that is the last heart from the punch, punched in Whisper White textured cardstock and adhered to Whisper White textured cardstock.

 Now you can do lots with the punch, make confetti for a wedding, make hearts to go inside a shaker card are just a few ideas.
