Backgrounds do make a card

 

Especially when the image is small.  I have used the Square Lattice Impressions folder again, but do you notice what is different?  It is two toned green, a really simple technique accomplished by just using your brayer and rolling on ink in this case to the raised side.  Sandwich your cardstock and roll through the Big Shot and now you have s two toned impression.   For this card, I used Certainly Celery for the cardstock and Old Olive for the ink.  I am trying to get used to Bravo Burgundy and it certainly brings some life to this card.  The image is from the retiring Level One hostess set, Love Bug.

Spring Fever

is hitting.  I have been cleaning like crazy, it must be the wonderful sunshine. Doesn't this card say SPRING! Bright Bold colors and a caterpillar, yes soon they will be crawling everywhere.

I have used only the Bold Bright family of colors, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Green Galore and Yoyo Yellow. The caterpillar is from the Level One Hostess set, Love Bug and I used Playground Buttons in Real Red and Tempting Turquoise to add some punch.  The Real Red Satin ribbon ties so beautifully even I can tie a respectable bow!!  The sentiment from Happy Everything says just that, sunshine does lift everyone's spirits!
