comfort zone and it is amazing what can happen! My challenge to myself was to make a Fall card, now those I have difficulty with as I just have trouble working with those "fallish" colours. I don't mind early fall, you know the days are still warm and sunny but once the leaves start to fall with vengence I am sad. So get out my Color Coach, a fabulous tool that does make your life easier and what could be a more fall colour than More Mustard.
Hmmm, Cajun Craze (that goes with the Well Worn pack) and Night of Navy, now that is a colour I love.
My stamp of choice for the card was Leaves of a Tree, now that is definitely a fall stamp! I first inked it up with More Mustard and then using the thumping technique (take your marker and using the brush tip thump around the stamp to add extra pops of colour) with Old Olive and Cajun Craze and then I used my Early Expresso marker to colour in the trunk. A little huff and onto a 3 x 3 square of Very Vanilla

And the completed card
Iused Autumn Splendor stamp set for the envelope and inside the card using the Rock N' Roll techique

Moral of the story: Fall cards don't have to be dark and dismal!
Happy Stamping,
