Is there such a thing?

as too much bling?  I don't know, it is kind of like being too thin or too rich, not possible!  This card is loaded with bling.

The colour combination is from the Colour Coach, Regal Rose, Early Expresso and Daffodil Delight, I will say I was not sure about that combo but I do like how the card worked out.  I find it is good to sometimes stretch yourself and go with colour combinations that you don't really think would work-you just may be surprised and end up with a colour combination you will use alot.

This card was for a special friend for her birthday, it was yesterday so I can post it today(hope you had a great day)

I started with a piece of Whisper White and using my brayer, I brayered on Daffodil Delight and then sprayed it with Shimmer Mist made from Rubbing Alcohol and Platinum Shimmer Paint.  The colour became more of a gold and the  sparkle is just beautiful.  I then used Early Expresso and stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Birthday and the medallions from Lacy & Lovely.  Add rhinestones to the centers and man, you got bling!

A bright and cheery Hello

I think that describes this card,don't you?

Daffodil Delight base with Pretty in Pink with Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight with Calypso Coral and Tempting Turquoise with Pacific Point and then a bit of Gumball Green for the leaves.  

I cased this card from Papercrafts magazine, the July/August issue and they used paint to make the circles and stamped flower images over the top.  Well, I could do that with our inks and a sponge dauber.  I first made a mat by punching out a 1", 1 3/8 and a 1 3/4 circle in a scrap piece of paper.  I then placed the mat over the Whisper White card stock and using my sponge dauber added ink to the paper.  I then used Lacy & Lovely stamp set to stamp with a complimenting colour the flowery images onto the circles as well as the sentiment. For the bit of greenery I use the leaf from Stippled Blossoms.
