What about this layout?

The latest issue of Cardmaker Magazine arrived in my inbox last night and this layout caught my eye.  The colours I chose from the Colour Coach, Early Expresso, Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette although the ribbon is Pretty in Pink.

 The crown is from Itty Bitty Bits, I must say I am so glad a purchased that set,  check out all the images  you get

 I don't think there is an occasion that is not covered!  I stamped the crown using Black Stazon, my favorite black ink, and coloured in the pink bits with my marker.  The gold is Gold Lame (119968) Smooch Pearlized Accent ink, so perfect for a crown.

A Simple Note card

This week over on SUDSOL the case is a simple card from Stampin' Success, a magazine that SU sends out to its demos.  Here is my take on the card, I changed the base from Crumb Cake to Whisper White and used just two colors for my hearts, Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink.  I punched each heart out with the Small Heart punch (117193) and the circles with the 3/4" circle punch 119873.  As a afterthought I added the heart image on the Pretty in Pink hearts from the Itty Bitty Bits set.  A bit of paper piercing and it is done.

Itty Bitty Bits

yes, these stamps(117056 or 120060) are really small but so easy to punch out with the matching Punch Pack (118309) and they layer with clear buttons, what more could you want.

This card is a case of the Make and Take from the SU incentive cruise-no I didn't go, but rather live vicariously through others!

Now the sentiment is different and I didn't use buttons but it is basically the same.  And, yes, that is Wild Wasabi, doesn't it go beautifully with Bashful Blue.
