A couple of days ago I showed a quick and easy note card and I just love the design so had to use it again. This time, I make little notecards for my Mum. My Mum and Dad are heading to China in just over a week for their fourth time and I know that they will be seeing alot of the friends that they have made there over the years so I thought they might like little cards.
I used the stamp set Happy Together, yes, I got it FREE from Sale-a-bration!
Aren't the little birds cute? Now knowing that symbolism is big in China I first checked and found out Quail stands for Courage so it is ok to use. The cards themselves are Real Red and matted with more Real Red that I have ran through the Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dots Impression folder.
I used the small pictres and stamped them on Whisper White with Close to Cocoa ink and then punched out with 1 1/4" circle punch then layered onto 1 3/8" Real Red then onto a Brushed Gold Scalloped Circle. I wound Gold Elastic cord around the Perfect Polka dot layer and attached the Scalloped Circle with Dimensionals covering the cord.
Then I needed envelopes so made them from last year's Sale-a-bration paper and here is the whole set together.
Super easy, super cute.
Happy Stamping,
