when you are dealing with your computer? I have and guarantee you have too, why is something so darn frustrating!!! For me, I could not load the pictures off my camera onto my Mac. The camera was not being recognized as being attached or it recognized it and showed transfer screen for 2 seconds but not long enough for me to press go. Turn off the camera, turn on the camera, turn off the computer, re start the computer, unplug the camera, yes, I know you have been there and just when you are about to throw in the towel, boom, it works!
So how about what you came to see, something papercrafting! Since it is almost Halloween, let's do treat packaging for the rest of the month. Today I am using our Baker's Box Thinlet.
Yes that is retired Halloween paper from goodness know what year! These "little" boxes are really not that little, they hold a lot and are super easy to make with just two trips thru the Big Shot. The Mummy is from Cookie Cutter Halloween with Googlie Eyes, from another old SU Halloween treat package. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a set that has you covered just any occasion.

My final Halloween project is a super quick and easy item that always brings a smile and "how did you do this?" and trust me, it is the easiest thing in the world. FIrst start with a piece of Designer Series paper, vary your sizes, 3 x 5, 4 1/2 x 5 1/2, 5 x 5 it really doesn't matter. Add Tear & Tape (Sticky strip) to two adjoining sides, roll into a tube and then close the end that has the sticky strip, add your treat, close this end the opposite direction to your first end and add your embellishments and voila- done.
Sour cream contaIners. I used Tangerine Tango DSP and then a Tea Lace Doily folded over the top and stapled closed. You can use sticky strip or punch holes and use ribbon, but hey, I said it was fast and what faster way than with a staple! The banner uses stamps from the Paper Pumpkin kits.

the stamp set that is (ok maybe a few freaky friends, but that's all good!)
I love the "eye" stamps that come with this set don't they make a great background. The sentiment is from September's Paper Pumpkin- (if you don't what Paper Pumpkin is-you are missing something great, just check my sidebar for information) and I stamped it with Elegant Eggplant and then layered everything onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. One of the reasons I got Freaky Friends set, is there are a few stamps in it that could definitely be used year round and I think this little guy is one of them.

Ok, maybe I got carried away, not quite sure. I got so many positive comments on those broomsticks the other day, I just had to make more! And well, I went and bought the unbleached coffee filters for these ones but since I was going to be making a few, I changed the tag to make them faster to make
What do you think? Isn't that little witch perfect? She is from Spooky Bingo Bits and I stamped her using Black Stazon and punched her out using my 1" circle punch. Next, using our new Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker from the mini, I inked up the sentiment from Bootiful Occasions and stamped it onto Basic Black, Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry. Using our 2 3/4" Scallop Circle I punched it out, attached the witch with Tombow Multi ( I will say that it is my favorite glue), tied the coffee filters on with Linen thread and attached the tag, then using our Mini gluedots attached the lttle Old Olive 1/8" Taffetta bow.
I think these will put a smile on a few faces!

and they have landed here too! Flying brooms that is what we are talking about, they started at Founder's Circle and have been making the rounds on lots of blogs, I just had to give them a try.
And look by the time they got to my blog, they are clean. Yep, I had just bought coffee filters when the brooms started making their appearance so mine use white filters instead of the unbleached ones but hey, maybe they are mops now! And just what are they hiding? Tootsie pops.
I used the stamp set, Bootiful Occasions, perfect for this project, stamping the boot with Black Stazon and cutting it out and layering it onto the Tangerine Tango Scalloped circle.
Perfect little treats for those sucker lovers!

using our Fancy Favor die, I ran the Houndtooth & Scaringbone DSP through the Big shot, and then attached a Tangerine Tango Labels Framelit that I stamped with the greeting from Mosnter Munchies.
The little owl is alos from Monster Munchies allows the Framelit to tuck under to hold it closed.

Well, with fall definitely here, rain, wind and cold, you know Halloween is just around the corner. I spend the weekend having fun making special little treat holders for some special people in my life. Here is one that is super easy with the help of our Simply Scored board. I used a 4 1/2 x 9 piece of Houndstooth & Scaringbone DSP scoring every 1" on the long side and then at 1 1/2" on the short side. Simply cut at each score line up to the 1 1/2" mark, burnish your score lines, a little Sticky Strip and voila, a perfect cup for holding a little bag of treats.
I wrapped a piece of Tangerine Tango 1/@" Scalloped Dotted ribbon around it and then used Dimensionals to attach Frankie. The top of the medium Cello bag is held closed with another fun stamp from Monster Munchies
Yep, those are Old Olive brads on each side acting as those screws- thanks Shannon for sharing that idea.
