it's last chance to convince you that you NEED this set,

 Eight great images with sentiments that make great cards

 For this one I used Pear Pizzazz as the base, Sunny Garden DSP (sold out) a strip of Poppy Parade with two So Saffron Flower brads and the image is stamped in Black Stazon and coloured with my blender pen and ink pads. Now how about a card from SU's artists

 How is that for a simple but lovely Christmas card?

Retirement time

 
Trying hard to use up some of my retiring Designer Series papers, so that I can buy some of the new packages without feeling guilty!

For the card today, I used Sunny Garden DSP,now that is one pack that I certainly will miss,  and Fun & Fast Notes, a well inked set that is retiring.

 The card base is 4 1/4 square in Very Vanilla and then a narrow border of Pear Pizzazz followed by a narrow border of Poppy Parade.  I used the larger square of Scallop Square Duo Bigz Die to cut the Pear Pizzazz.  The image is stamped using Black Stazon on a 2 x 2 piece of Very Vanilla and then matted with Poppy Parade.  The sentiment is from On Your Birthday  and punched using the 1 1/4" circle punch followed with a Poppy Parade 1 3/8" circle and then the Pear Pizzazz small scallop.

So what would you do

Situation: you are giving five gift cards to one person.

Do you make five giftcard holders  or put them all in one giftcard holder.  Well, of course, put them all in one giftcard holder would be the best, but how is that possible?  Well, fellow SU Demo Lyssa, thought about it and came up with a fabulous holder that holds up to 8 giftcards.

 Certainly doesn't look like a giftcard holder does it.  I used Garden Green for the base and the DSP is from Candy Cane Lane (sorry this one is no longer available, was just a bit too popular) and the belly band is Garden Green and some beautiful retired Dotted Real Red Grosgrain ribbon highlights the band.  The image from Fun & Fast Notes is stamped with Black Stazon onto Whisper White and colored with my blender pen and inks.  Sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes complete the front and then opposite corners are rounded and mounted onto a piece of Real Red.  When the belly band is removed

 the top flips up

 revealing little pockets made from Whisper White

 and into each pocket a gift card.

Simple Birthday

How is this for a fast card?  It uses Fun and Fast Notes which is one of those great sets with stamps for all occasions.  Change the color of the DSP and cardstock and color the cake differently and you have a card ready for a guy.

Technique fun

Here is a card that we did at my techniques card with embossing. Instead of using DSP for the background paper, try embossing.  We used the Bella Toile stamp and embossed it using clear embossing powder.  Here is the inside

Fancy Fold

Turn your basic A2 card into a fancy fold by cutting 1 1/4" off the side and it changes the whole card.

How's this for a Notice Me birthday card! Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo combine for one bright Look at Me card.  I cased this layout from Cardmaker and it is one I will use again.  Here is the inside

All the Mambo Melon is stamped with Bella Toile background stamp and clear embossed then matted with Crushed Curry.  The birthday cake from Fun & Fast Notes is colored with my In Color markers and the sentiment is from On Your Birthday. Yes, it's true, I am really starting to love the In Colors!
