Maybe it is my age, but in the past year, I have made too many sympathy cards. For this card, I used Naturals Ivory as my base and layered it with Always Artichoke. The single rose from Flores Suaves, a beautiful spanish set adds all the colour. I really love the words that come with Close as a Memory, even though it is retired, it is definitely my go to set for sympathy cards. Now, go hug those you love,

I just love Butterfly images and this card is one that I made for a swap. I stamped the Butterflies with Black Stazon ink onto Vellum cardstock and then sponged Night of Navy and So Saffron inks onto the backs. Cut the butterflies out and attached them in the center with mini glue dots to the card.
The base of the card is Kraft cardstock layered with Not Quite Navy and Bella Blue DSP. A bit of Kraft Taffetta knotted so beautifully, yes, I do think that I am starting to get the hang of knotting, still have to work on the bows but maybe one day they too will be good. The stamp set is Flores Sauves, one of my favorites.
