doesn't always make a favourite card! I do kind of like it, but not too sure! I am sure that you have made cards like this, something off but not quite sure where you went wrong. I love the colours, I love the stamp set, Fabulous Florets, I love the texture, Square Lattice. Oh well, can't win them all!

This is one of the cards we will be making on Friday at our "I love to Emboss and you will too (if not pretend you do!)" class. I cased this card from Tina Lockhart, a fellow SUDSOL member, changing the stamp set to Fabulous Florets.
For this card, we will be using the Emboss Resist technique. I loved the colour combination that Tina chose, Melon Mambo and Whisper White such a fun combination.

Those who know me, know that a gardener I am not, maybe that is why I love floral stamp sets, I can have lots of flowers, and no need to worry about watering, weeding and pruning. The set Fabulous Florets in the Summer Mini is just gorgeous.
Three different flowers, a single leaf and a larger leaf/stem image and the sentiment, from e.e. cummings, the earth laughs in flowers. I used just two of the images and the sentiment for this card, stamping and embossing all of them.
The bloom I stamped onto Whisper White and embossed using more Melon Mambo embossing powder. The most important thing to tell you about this stamp set is, the flowers are EASY to cut out. We have been getting a bit spoiled lately with all the new punches for the stamp sets, but no punch for this set. Remember when you cut out your images, leave just a little white around the edge so your image will really pop and use a sharp pair of very pointed scissors, like our paper snips (103579)
