Tramp is back

Our super cute dog is back today with a Fancy Fold.  Again I pulled the cardstock  colours from the image, Smokey Slate, Real Red and Whisper White all from our dog.  

The card base is 4 1/4 X 9 scored at  5 1/2 so the card ends up being a regular size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I added a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Whisper White to the front making our Fancy Fold,  The sentiment is from Forever Fern.  Now the Smoky Slate piece behind the sentiment has been ran through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine(which if I haven't told you, is the best, so smooth) and a retired Brick folder.  I didn't think it was retired till I looked up the name of the folder and found the Brick and Mortar folder is totally different than this Brick folder!  Now off to the mail with this card and hope that this card makes my  friend smile.

Sometimes it is hard

to get back in the groove.  After being away from stamping for 3 weeks, I just could not make a card that pleased me.  Today, the fog has cleared and I was on a roll.  First card made and liked, and best of all, it was quick and easy.  Amazing when that happens!

 I used a Sketch from SCS as a starting point and decided my colors, Early Expresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  Since it is Sale-a-bration, what better stamps to use but FREE stamps.  Yes, Extreme Skateboard is one of the options at the back of the catalogue and don't you love the font on the sentiment, it is from the Sale-a-bration set, So Happy for You.  The Designer papers are from the Neutrals Collection for the Early Expresso and the Old Olive, would you believe some Christmas pack from a couple of years ago. 

So what made the Mojo come back? Maybe cleaning my desk!!
