to get this Engraved Greetings set.  Yes, it is on the retiring list so it is now or never.

 How is this for a bold birthday card?  I stamped the HB on Whisper White oval cut with Ovals Originals DIe (114525)  with Versamark and black embossed.  The Real Red oval mat is cut with the same die.  And how is that for fancy ribbon, super easy but a bit different and to make the Whisper White panel not so shockingly bright, I stamped it with Sanded background stamp and yes, it is retiring too.  The DSP is from the Day  & Night Specialty pack, long retired but available for a incredible price on the clearance rack.

Good Value

great stamp set.  Engraved Greetings, I have probably said it before, is a great set for only $15.95.  Since I am out of Thank You cards and needing quite a few,  you are going to see a few different ones using this set. 

 Today's card uses Cottage Green Designer Series Paper and I have stamped the large Flourish from Baroque Motifs onto it with Daffodil Delight.  The sentiment is stamped in Pear Pizzaz onto Whisper White and matted with Pear Pizzazz.  Simple yes, but elegant.

Engraved Greetings

 with Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder creates a thank you card that is just a step up.  I love the elegance of White on White but also wanted to add some color with Bashful Blue and Marina Mist.  The brads are 5/16" Jumbo Brads (112534) and the mat for the Sentiment is 2 7/8 square, a size that works perfectly with our Scallop Trim Corner and Edge punches.

Inexpensive and Fabulous

In the catalogue Stampin' Up has so many great inexpensive stamps, one being Engraved Greetings on page 182.  A first glance it is easy to pass over but take another look.  For $15.95 you get two fabulous stamps,  Thank You and  Happy Birthday.

Stamp these in any color of ink or emboss for a little extra Wow factor, punch out with Circle or Oval punches or simply stamp onto a rectangle or square and create a different look each time you use them.

How about this Birthday card geared towards guys.  Wild Wasabi and Bashful Blue make a nice combination.  Cropping the corners with the  now retired tag corner punch softens all the straight lines.
