Yes, 69 days till Christmas-hard to believe, time goes so fast! Here is another one of the Christmas cards we made at our little stamp camp on Friday.
Now browns are not a colour that I normally think of for Christmas but I was trying to show how you can use "non traditional" colours. I started with the Designer Series Paper choosing the Mocha Morning Speciality pack. I thought, it has alot of golds in it so gold is Christmasy so off I went. Now this picture(any all of the other ones I took) definitely do not do this card justice as the DSP does look kind of flat in the pictures as I can't get a good picture of the metallic inks used in the DSP. The antlers have some Dazzling Diamonds to add that little bit more flash. I made the card to different ways, one with a side fold, one top fold
I know everyone likes to make there cards all different ways but I prefer the side fold as it stands just that much better especially on slippery mantles.
Inside both cards are the same
Stamps used are great ones, the Dasher stamp is a a la carte stamp for $10.95 and the sentiments from Christmas Greetings, a great value set includes both the outside and inside sentiments for $13.95. And did you notice the ribbon- gorgeous quilted Early Expresso from the Holiday Mini, also available in Cherry Cobbler, if you haven't got some yet, it is something you definitely want to grab, it is so beautiful.
Happy Stamping,
