Welcome to our May Blog hop featuring one of my favorite types of cards to make-Fun Fold. There are so many different types of folds that you can use and almost all of them are so easy you will wonder why you waited so long to try.
I have used the same pieces of cardstock and changed the orientation and made two very different looking cards. The pieces I used were
1 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of cardstock
1 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 piece of cardstock scored at 4 1/4
2 3 x 4 pieces of DSP
1 3 x 4 piece of cardstock
First card is a birthday card
I used the Hippo Happiness stamp set and dies and the Playing with Playing with Patterns DSP to make this card. Since Unicorns, Purple and Pinks seem to be a favorite amongst my young ones I thought this was perfect for a four year old.
And my next card using the same sized pieces and Shaded Spruce and the Forever Foliage DSP but still used the Hippo & Friends Dies along with the Forever Flourishing dies and changing the orientation you get a totally different looking card.
Now on to see what Teri has for us this month,
And here is a list of all the hoppers!
Happy Hopping,
Elaine
Such adorable fun folds especially the one for a four-year-old, Elaine! The pop of pink in both cards is so cheerful. Thanks so much for the inspiration and for hopping with us! x

Simple and efficient. Nice creation Elaine! And finally, it does not eat so much paper ... so, quite what I like!

Very interesting to see the difference a simple change in orientation makes to the design.
