Welcome to our April Blog Hop. This month we have a very different theme, Monochromatic Rainbow and the different time zones are assigned a different colour. Stampin' Up has such a fabulous range of colours and what a perfect way to highlight them. My time zone was assigned Green. Did you know that we have 9 colours of Green right now, not including the blueish greens.
The green colours I chose from were; Granny Apple Green, Just Jade, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Seafoam, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.
I have used the same basic layout for all my cards, making a Slimline card and using up some retiring DSP. My first two cards I used Forever Greenery DSP pack, pulling my colours from the paper. Mint Macaron and Green Green are my first two colours,
I added a bit of Gold with the sentiment and mat for the sentiment. My next card uses Shaded Spruce, a wonderful bold colour
I do love this piece of DSP, it is bright and cheerful with the random pattern of dots. The sentiment is form You're Amazing and again I have heat embossed it and matted it onto our Gold foil.
My last card uses Just Jade a current In Colour and the retiring Butterfly Gala stamp set.
I used the Flower for All Seasons DSP pack for the DSP and created this very simple card with Basic Black for an accent.
Well, onto Sharon's blog and let's see what colour she has used today
