Welcome to December's Blog Hop, this month our theme is Something New, Something Old and since it is December and I still have a few Christmas cards to make, I've got Christmas cards for you, one using a new set and one using a really old Stampin' Up set.
I have used the same layout and colours, Whisper White and Seaside Spray. First I used the Gnome for the Holidays set, just love these gnomes.
I used the beautiful Winter Snow embossing folder for the background and then the sentiment is Silver heat embossed and I added a few Silver foil snowflakes from a retired die set. My little gnome is coloured with Highland Heather and Purple Posy blends.
Now my old set is from 2001 and it is called Sunny Seasons. I love this set, reminds me of all the years that we spent Christmas in the sunshine and heat of the desert.
For this card I used our Evergreen embossing folder because if I used the Winter Snow folder, it would be more of a polar bear dip card!
Well, that it is for me today, enjoy the rest of the hop and Merry Christmas to you all and hopefully 2021 will bring many blessings.
Now onto Sharon's blog
And just in case you get lost, here are all of us hopping.
Happy Hopping,
Your cards just made me smile! I love the gnomes, but I really like the second one!!!!
