This month we are celebrating Texture. I love texture on cards and you can get texture with layers, Heat embossing, dry embossing or Designer series papers. Well, Stampin' Up has made this so easy with their annual catalogue with this pack of paper, In Good Taste.
They have taken actual tiles, boards, carpet etc and taken pictures and enlarged them and printed them onto our paper. First up, I have a a simple card with a plaster type texture.
Whisper White & Misty Moonlight and a few Silver Foil Stars are all that this card required. Next card I used a different Plaster sheet this type brown based. I stamped a couple of flowers from Tasteful Touches stamp set and fussy cut them and colouring them with Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody and Cinnamon Cider blends. A simple label from the Tasteful Labels sets off the sentiment.
Lastly, I have a bag made with one of the Brick patterns. This bag has lots of texture thanks to the Linen thread messy bow, Navy Blue banners cut from another sheet of paper and a couple of gorgeous Blue flowers.
Well that's all for me, Thanks for stopping by and now let's see what fabulous creations Teri has for us.
If you get lost along the way, here is the entire list of participants.
Happy Hopping,
Lovely cards Elaine
