It's Blog Hop time again and this month Angie has challenged us to make 2 coordinating projects. I have a co worker who is leaving and heading off to a new job so of course I wanted to give her a card and a little gift. First up the card
I used Forever Fern stamp set and since I have been on a bright colour kick, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Gold are my colours. I love this stamp set, the detail in the leaves and of course the matching dies. I used Balmy Blue for the berry like things (yes, that's technical!) and then sponged on some Magenta Madness on the edges of the stamp before stamping it. I love the two tone look. I added some Gold Foil sprigs and then the sentiment is gold heat embossed and highlighted with a gold band. The Whisper White background of the card has been ran through with the Tasteful Texture folder and spritzed with Champagne & Frost White Shimmer paint as it looked just a little too stark plain.
Then for the gift, I made a custom sized box to fit her gift, spritzed on some Champagne & Frost White Shimmer paint and added my die cuts.
This time the sentiment is from a old Paper Pumpkin kit. Inside the box, 3 Aromatherapy rollers that I made special for her.
Hope you liked my projects and I know you will love what Sharron has made. If you get lost on the way, there is a list of all of us hopping just below.
Happy Hopping,
You have chosen such pretty shades for your projects and what a sweet gift!
