Sunday was absolutely gorgeous here, did a little gardening, harvesting what was left of the lettuce, it's getting too hot for the lettuce to be happy. Next year I think I will try a different spot, not so sunny for the lettuce but I will be planting more mid August so will have it through September and maybe October. Picked carrots, beans & strawberries and my bell peppers are flowering, tomatoes growing and the 2 spaghetti squash that have grown, are looking fabulous. I don't know about you, I love Spaghetti Squash. Use it like pasta, add tomatoes, onions, peppers and spices and sometimes a little Turkey Sausage, it's delicious. And have you ever tried making a pizza crust with it, absolutely mouthwatering. Well enough about food, let's talk card making!
I am so happy with this card, I am going to be using this layout quite a bit. I used Pacific Point for the card base, then a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Balmy Blue, 3 x 4 Pacific Point DSP (3 x 4 is a great size for cutting your DSP. From a 12 x 12 sheet you will get 12 cards and from 6 x 6 two cards with a 2 x 6 inch strip leftover.
And yes, Over the Moon cow, I mean, is that not a happy card! And yes, I used my Blends. For those of you who haven't tried our Blends, you really need too, you will become a artist with just a couple of brushstrokes. Unlike Copics, they are so easy to use, Stampin' Up has done all the colour matching for you, you get a dark and a light of each colour. No guessing or fallowing a number formula to get your shading. Have a wonderful Monday
Happy Stamping,
