halfway through another week-time certainly does fly. Worked on Monday, forgot to post yesterday as I had such a busy day at work, was exhausted when I got home. Post office at this time of the year is crazy but fun, my customers are lovely and it is so nice to see people helping others with carrying out their packages. Tuesday I had off so it was lovely, got to play in my card room. Woke up to our first major snowfall, snowed pretty near all day, the hubby was happy got to plow for the first time this winter.
First up I have to tell you about January's Paper Pumpkin, they have given us a little sneak peek.
January's kit is going to coordinate with Animal Expedition, one of my favourite suites in the catalogue. I will say I am looking forward to that kit, December's kit fabulous, I have just about totally used it up, and December's kit should arrive next week and looking forward to that kit as well. If you want to try Paper Pumpkin, sign up for January's, with those cute animals, you can't go wrong. And you will get a Stampin' Spot, exclusive Stamp set, and who knows what embellishment, sequins, buttons, ribbon, pearls, rhinestones, the kits use so many different ones. It is a perfect way to build your core supplies without spending too much money. And speaking of November's Paper Pumpkin, here is another card made with it. I used a Thick Whisper White card base, added 1/2 sheet of the beautiful plaid paper that came in the kit. The holly from the stamp set, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed gold onto Vellum ad colored with my Blends. I used the 2" circle punch to punch it out and layered onto a Gold Foil Starburst punch. Those two punches work so well together. The sentiment from the stamp set is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then a few gold sequins from the kit finish off the card.
Simple, easy card made from the kits contents, but modified to my style.
Happy Stamping,
