December 1st, will be here before you know it so it really is time to start thinking about making your Christmas cards. Signs of Santa is a really cute set in the Holiday catalogue with Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves. This set is part of a suite called Santa's Workshop and the suite has the stamp sets, framelits, Candy Cane punch, Designer Series paper, enamel shapes, ribbon, red rhinestones, twine, card bases & envelopes and it even has a great Memories & More card pack that shares the same images.
I made a couple of 4 1/4 square cards, one with Real Red and the other with Poppy Parade. Since we have matching Blends for both couples, Santa is aperfect match.
Can you see the difference between the colours, the Real Red is brighter but the Poppy Parade is a perfect tone. I ran the cardstock through the Big Shot with a retired folder, added a Silver Glimmer paper band, a scalloped circle and this is a easy card but with a little sparkle and texture it really packs some punch.
