I fell in love with a card by Jeanette Swain and just had to case it. It just went perfectly with this sentiment that I found a few weeks ago and had sitting on my desk.
I did a few changes to the card, adding Silver Glimmer paper to give that little bit of sparkle and the background I ran through the Big Shot with the Sale-a-bration impressions folder Decorative Dots because it reminded me of the sentiment. And just what was that sentiment?
That folder does kind of look like warts doesn't it!
Mr. Brown dropped off a box the other day filled with goodies from the Spring Occasions Catalogue and our Sale-a-bration flyer. Well, let the fun begin!
This card uses three of the new products, Banners Framelits and the Hexagon Hive Thinlits and Perfect Pennants stamp set and then I added out Pappillion Potpourri for the butterflies.Truthfully I was on the fence with the Hexagon Hive framelit and I am glad I decided to order it. It cut beautifully in my Big Shot by adding a simple sheet of wax paper between the cardstock and the die. The banner framelits have six different sizes and compliment the Perfect Pennants set beautifully.

I needed a card for a 1 year old (really two 1 one year olds, I'll show the other one later) and decided punch art would be perfect. I scoured Pinterest for punch art and saw a few that I liked. This little guy was one of them. I really don't know who is his original creator. I used Crushed Curry for the main colour for the giraffe with Tangerine Tango spots. The number 1 is free hand cut and I used balloons from Big Wish in the Spring Mini and the sentiment from Remembering your Birthday, inside
another ballon and the rest of the sentiment. Have you tried punch art- it's fun and addictive!
This little puppy, well different versions of this puppy have been on blogs all over the place. Being so cute, I just had to make one. Punches and our heart framelits or drawn your own heart is all you need.I cut the second largest heart from our framelits using Sahara Sand folded and placing the tip of the heart off the cardstock so that I would still have a fold. Then one smaller heart in Chocolate Chip for the ears. Cut that heart in half and attach each piece to the back of the card. Add a Full Heart punch for his nose, two circles for his cheeks (any size will do) I used 1/2" circle for the whites of his eyes, the Owl Punch for the pupils and the smallest heart in the framelits for the one eye. His tongue is part of the small oval punch.

I used the sports car image for this card, stamping it in Real Red and cutting it out with our Circle Framelits. The sentiment is stamped using Versamark and heat embossed with our Silver Embossing powder onto Basic Black card stock and then both are attached to a Real Red circle again cut with our Circle Framelits. I used a piece of our Silver Foil Sheet and embossed it with the Argyle Impressions folder. These sheets are fabulous to work with, heat emboss or dry emboss, they work beautifully. Notice the tire prints on the envelope, yes, you never want to send a naked envelope! Inside

The sentiments in this set are perfect focal points for your cards.
I also used Papillion Potpourri for the butterflies stamping them in Versamark onto our Vellum cardstock and then heat embossing with Black embossing powder. After punching them out with our fabulous Elegant & Bitty butterfly punches I coloured the backs with my Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral markers and attached to the card with mini glue dots in the center. Inside a couple more.
Don't you think it would be lovely not to have to worry about housework but having a perfect, dust-free house without lifting a finger? I know, what a dream world I would be living in! Well, now everyone can have a French maid with just a little punching, bigshotting and glue. I have to thank Maria Russell for designing her and she has a video too. I changed very little from her card, just the eyes.

Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Whisper White and Basic Black are the colours I used. Really they don't take long to make and are guaranteed to put a smile on the face on the one who receives them.
Check out today's card, made with Sale-a-bration goodies but the only stamps I used were the sentiments from Petite Pairs which isn't a Sale-a-bration set.
