When the Spring Occasions Mini came out there were alot of new and fabulous things in it, and one thing that I just thought, gee, I would never use that. Now, from past experiences, I should know, never say never. I have seen so many cool things with this "thing" I didn't want, so I finally thought, what is wrong with you, get it. Now I didn't get the entire bundle but I got the main piece. And just what am I talking about----Card Base Pop n' Cuts. Page 32 on in the mini, consisting of
The base 130099 $48.95 Now just so you know this is an investment, there is only one insert so far, but I have a feeling, this is just the beginning of this line. This makes the card base, complete with the fancy edges and little slots to tuck the fancy in making the card stay closed.

Ok, what did I make with the Base- a gift card holder. That is right, just add a couple of score lines and voila, you have an beautiful gift card holder.
How is that for some fancy packaging? Now this was not my idea, I told you, I have seen so many cool things made with this die. The one who designed this fabulous holder, Australia's Tanya Bell. I used Perfect Plum for my base and highlighted with Pretty in Pink and our wonderful Gold embossing powder. The butterflies are from Papllion Potpourri and the sentiment Beautiful Birthday . Simply score your diiiie cut piece(starting at the bottom flat part) at 1, 3 3/4 and 8 1/4 and create this holder.
