Gift cards are the best gift to give those people on your list who are so hard to buy and since there are so many different types of giftcards available, even the hardest person is going to be easy. ( I mean, your choices are easy-groceries or restaurant cards-I mean they got to eat sometime right) and for those travellers, hotel, rental or airline cards. Now you could just pop them in a envelope the way they come
or sometimes they come with thiere own beautiful folder.
But being the crafty person you are, you can do better and they don't take long to make. They start with a piece 4 1/2 x 11. On the 4 1/4" side score at 1" and turn and score at 5 1/2 . Now fold your card so that you have a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card, open and cut off the 1" strip from the front. Fold up the other 1" strip attaching to the right side with a little Scoretape making the pocket to hold your gift card.
Now decorate the front. The Festival of Prints stack has some great patterns
The little snowman from No Peeking, sentiment from More Merry Message and lots of rhinestones makes this one shine
For the Birds skating star adorns this one, the images are colored in with my Blender pen and ink pads for a clear translucent colour.
Come back tomorrow and I'll show you another quick gift card holder.
Happy Stamping,
