I was exhausted when I got home from Convention, let me show you! Stampin' Up! convention- Wow, it was mind blowing. The amount of work that went into putting on such a fabulous convention was evident from the first moment you walked in the Salt Lake Palace to get your Convention bag. Have you seen the bag?

Inside was a convention pin, our stamp sets for our Make & Takes, pen, catalogue and this fabulous program book.

Inside the book was the agenda for the convention as well as these fun pictures of presenters, working with the convention theme:

Now, this was my first convention and some may say, that is why I found it to be so incredible but meeting other demonstrators, ones who have been coming for years, no, Stampin' Up! outdoes themselves every year.
The general sessions, mindblowing. From the opening with the video I shared the other day, the presentations by Stampin' Up employees and of course, you can't forget the Prize Patrol. Classes were fabulous, you really learn so much, not only from SU staff but fellow demonstrators as well. I really enjoyed my classes, I am Savvy with Donna Griffith, all about creative ways to use our products. In this class, three fellow demos shared projects with our ribbon, fabrics and kits.
My next class was with Bonnie Thurber, now if you don't know who she is, go to Stampin' Up!'s You Tube page and check out one of her videos. Bonnie, is such a fun presenter, really enjoyed this class. Ronda Wade and Tami White were the SU demos who presented at this class.

I took two classes with Carrie Cudney, another wonderful presenter. First was her Pattern mixing pro class learning how to get the most out of our DSP and then I am open for business. What, you aren't supposed to buy everything for just you!

We certainly can't forget Shannon West's class, this girl is so fun, and what does she teach-how to have fun. Check out her costume
This is how she came on stage to present some Halloween ideas.
In real life, she is Fancy!
Emily Montoya had a very informative and fun class about finding Kate. Who is Kate? Well, in the opening session, we have a presentation from Jason Ryan Dorsey, absolutely one of the best motivational speakers I have seen, about the "Y" generation and how to relate to them. Yes, technology is involved! Kate, you must of guessed by now, is a "Y" generation person. My last class was with Pam Morgan and was all about understanding Stampin' Up's career plan. Now add on Make & Takes, one more evening class, displays, and alot of walking, you can understand.
Now if you got six secret words from the classes and wrote them in our book, at lunch on Saturday you simply presented the book to receive this special Convention stamp set.

Want to come with me next year? It will be Stampin' Up's 25 Anniversary so it is going to be special just for that. Next year the convention is July 18-20th in Salt Lake City. Want to come? You have to be a demonstrator, so maybe you should sign up. August is going to be the month to join, extra goodies just for you. Want to know more-email me.
Happy Stamping,
