This was one on my top picks for a stamp set in the Occasions Mini-why-well that is what I learned to type on. Remember in high school, typing class, the guys signed up as they thought it was going to be a easy class! Well, they were wrong, but I really enjoyed it and on these old typewriters, I used to be able to type 65 words a minute.
Here is a card that I made for my SUDSOL swap
Don't you just love the Pleated Satin Ribbon, well that was my starting point. I decided to use the Riding Hood Red one and making my card base Riding Hood Red and the papers, are from Timeless Portrait for the background and then First Edition Speciality DSP for the small circle (and I chose the paper that told about typewriters- I wonder if anyone will notice). When using the Pleated Satin ribbon, my advice would be to use Sticky Strip to attach it to your card, you definitely want to make sure that it stays put and I wrapped it just under the Basic Black strip and attached the strip with Sticky Strip too. The layout for this card came from the Card Sketches on SCS. Now don't you think this card would be a perfect Valentine card too!
Happy Stamping,
