I had in Portland at the regionals. This was the first time I went to a Stampin' Up event and boy, I have to wonder why I didn't go before, what was I thinking? It was so much fun and I learned alot and met some wonderful demonstrators.
One of the things that happen at any Stampin' Up event is swapping, and I showed you my swaps on Friday and I will be sharing the swaps I got in return over the next few days. The first ones I am going to show are amazing cards that I got from fellow SUDSOL demonstators. Since we went on Friday, there were only three SUDSOLers at the regional, but lots of Saturday.
First one is from Kivonne Tucker and she used French Foliage from the Holiday Mini, a set I did not have but won at the Regional-oh yeah, I 'm happy!
Isn't this a beautiful card. I really don't know what technique it is but she used a window sheet and stamped the words from En Francais and the leaf on and then this is attached to Whisper White with what I believe is Crystal Effects mixed with a bit of Reinker for the colors.
The second one is from Kathy Thisted and she used MDS to make this card. It uses the new download Deck the Halls
And yes, that is in the Mini as a stamp and inside
Incredible isn't it? The blue DSP is from the Shades of Spring collection and boy does it work beautifully as a frosty sky.
Those are all the cards you get today, I am going to string them out over the next bit so I can do a bit of relaxing!
And the wonderful people at Stampin' Up have extended a promotion just for those demonstrators who went to the Portland regional. You may remember the sign up and get the Gala Greenhouse tote bag for free that ended October 18 but if you sign up with a demonstrator who went to the Portland regional, you still can get the tote PLUS you also get a free stamp set, Chocolate. It is from the upcoming Mini that comes out after Christmas so you get a real sneak peek. This promotion runs only until November 7th. So what you would get is: The Gala Greenhouse tote
everything in the Starter kit and another free stamp set, Chocolate all for $175-exceptional. If you have the Idea Book and Catalogue you can check page 8 to see what comes in the Starter kit, but it is $310 Value by itself and then add on these two items and it is a rocking value. If you have been thinking about becoming a demonstrator either hobby or as a business, this is a great time.
That's all I have for today, have a great Monday and
Happy Stamping,
