You know the day- you go to make a card and everything you try, just doesn't look right. I had to make a male birthday card, so no pink, no bows, no flower, you know, lots of no, no , no! Then I didn't like the colors, too dark, finally, Poppy Parade to the rescue again. Man, I am going to have to order a full pack of it this week as I have half a sheet left! So I finally got a card I am happy with,
Poppy Parade and Early Expresso with a bit of So Saffron. The bottom DSP is from the In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (117158) and it gorgeous pack of paper. 40 sheets, all five In Colors, four different patterns and two double sided sheets of each design. Guess what color I am going to run out of first?
The stamp set, On a Pedestal and I stamped the Pedestal in So Saffron then the cupcake in Poppy Parade and on a scrap piece the cupcake again in Early Expresso and then cut out the top part and added it with dimensionals after stamping the candle on top. The sentiment comes from the set On Your Birthday, (111664) I think one of the best Birthday sentiment sets you can get, so many choices for both the inside and outside of the card. For example, the one I used inside this card
