This design of giftcard holder comes from a very talented fellow Canadian Stampin' Up demonstrator, Andrea Walford. She designed this in June 2008 here is the post and it is a very simple design and you can make two from a standard sheet of cardstock. I give alot of giftcards, but do not like to have the same giftcard holder for each one so make a variety of different styles. For this one, I used Bashful Blue and one of my favorite Holiday sets, Holiday Line Up.
Using Whisper White and the Circle#2 die for the BigShot I cut out the largest circle and then using my Stamp a ma Jig I stamped on the snowmen and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Basic Grey ink. The snowmen colored using a blender pen and Pacific Point, Bashful Blue inks and then Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip markers.
For the background I first rubbed the cardstock with my Embossing Buddy to remove any static and then using Versamark I stamped on the snowflakes using a stamp from Serene Snowflakes set. I then used both Iridescent Ice and White Embossing powders to emboss the snowflakes. Inside
More snowflakes and lots of room to write a note.
Happy Stamping,
