I am really glad I bought one, thought about it for a long time and I have a Cuttlebug. Let me say the Big Shot is so superior to the Cuttlebug. The biggest plus is that the Big Shot does not wobble or move when you are using it, and you don't have to keep adding shims to make things work. The dies fit and work like they are supposed to the first time.
Not that I am having a party to invite anyone to, but this card just says party to me.
Using Regal Rose DSP the scalloped circle die (113468)is cut down to a dress and is not my idea. It have been floating around on SCS for a while. The belt is just Basic Black cardstock with a Ribbon slide from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit (111325). Because I really wanted the dress to be the focal point, the background is just Whisper White sponged with a bit of Bashful Blue ink. The sentiment is from Family Phrases.
Now what about the purse. Isn't it cute? I used the Round Tab punch on Basic black, then cut it in half. The handles are a small oval punch then the large oval punch. Add a pink Circle fire brad (109110)and it is beautiful. What the picture doesn't show, is what I have done to the purse. Faux alligator skin. Another creation of Jackie Topa, a super easy and WOW technique.
Well, still got to play so off I go,
Happy Stamping,
Elaine
