Today is our dear friends, John & Sue's anniversary- Happy Anniversary! Our Level 3 hostess set, Occassional Quotes has a perfect sentiment for weddings and anniversaries and doesn't it look perfect on the front of the card.
I also used a stamp from Valentine Defined, this stamp set can and will be used for more than just Valentine cards. And what adds so much pizzazz to this card, Glimmer Paper.
I punched the Glimmer Paper with our Full Heart Punch and layered onto Basic Grey hearts cut with our exclusive Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die adding a double bow of Real Red Satin Ribbon.
Made these last year and they were a hit, so you got to make them again. What I like about using Test Tubes as Treat holders, is they don't hold alot of candy, just the right amount for a little pick me up.
I used Pretty in Pink and Early Expresso for the bases and then Riding Hood Red DSP. I love our double sided DSP, both of these designs came from one sheet of paper, so we have a more feminine one and then a more masculine one. I used Valentine Defined for the Pretty in Pink ones and then the tags, My Digital Studio to the rescue, I simply chose the label punch from the punch choices, matted it with Early Expresso, added my text box and typed in the words. The little heart, is another punch image and just filled in with Riding Hood Red and then I popped a piece of Pretty in Pink into the printer and voila, custom made tags.

And don't forget to check out the Occasions Mini for some fabulous sets like this one.
Today's card is CASED from the incredible Mary Brown, I only changed the DSP, ribbon and sentiment. This was another of the cards we made at my Sweet Valentine's class.
The DSP is from Candy Cane Lane that fabulous Christmas paper that sold out early, but to me, pink is not a Christmas color so I got saved for Valentine cards. Yes, that is that fabulous Glimmer Paper from the Mini, and boy, are we hoping that they carry that into the next catalogue and add some more colors. It is so much nicer that other Glitter papers I have used in the past, this one isn't stiff and doesn't crack like other brands and punches easily, just like Stampin' Up to find the best products.
For the inside and the envelope, I used the Heart Line stamp using Real Red ink.
