Rainbow Embossing

works so beautifully with this stamp set, Snow Swirled.

 For the Rainbow Embossing on this card, I first stamped my stamp with Versamark and then Brocade Blue Classic ink and then stamped it on Whisper White.  Using Irridescent Ice Embossing powder and a spoon I placed the powder in various places and then dumped it back in the container.  I finished covering the image with Gold Embossing powder and heated it with my Heat tool.  Where I have just Irridescent Ice, the Brocade Blue shows through

How's that for a super easy Wow.  Now mat the image with Brocade Blue, round all the corners and place on Brushed Gold cardstock that has one edge punched with the Scallop Edge punch. A little ribbon and Noel gold embossed and it is a easy elegant card.

Rainbow Embossing

is a technique that I will be teaching later today.  It is a easy WOW technique.  Here is the card we are going to be making 

Now let's take a closer look at the embossing

Notice it is silver and blue.  That is rainbow embossing.  Here is the inside of the card

 Hopefully everyone will love this technique too.

Different but the same

This card is a top fold instead of a side fold, but other than that, everything is the same. Night of Navy and Brushed Silver certainly change the card.  You can certainly see the Dazzling Diamonds on this card but the brushed silver looks dull in the picture.

 Ok alot to go but how many Christmas cards have you got done?  I am loving Snow Swirled, a wonderful set that really is easy to work with

In person, it looks so much more sparkly than I could capture on the picture.  Really gave Soft Suede a workout on this card, base, DSP, ink and ribbon.  Shimmery white compliments it beautifully.  Dazzling diamonds and clear rhinestone brads to add some sparkle. Inside I carried the same theme

using another snowflake stamp and the sentiment from the same set .  Now we can't forget the envelope

Snow Swirled

 Makes a lovely Christmas card.  Another super simple card from one stamp set, Snow Swirled.  Encore Gold ink on Very Vanilla, matted with Real Red. 

 Lately I seem to have a thing for embossing, this card I used Finial Press embossing folder.
