A party is happening

tomorrow!  That's right it is Canada's Birthday and across this great big country, the celebrations will happen.  Fireworks, cake and hopefully alot of sunshine.

How is this for a bright birthday card

 Yes, there will be balloons too, I am sure of it, maybe only red and white ones, but still there will be balloons.  This stamp set is only available till 10:59 tonight, it is from Bitty Birthday, so easy to color in what ever meduim you prefer. Add a bit of scallopping, a little ribbon and you are ready to party.

Only three days left of

June and the old Catalogue.  Yes, some sets we are going to miss but we will have some new ones that we will learn to love just the same.  Todays card, uses I think my favorite Level 1 Hostess set in the last few years, God's Beauty, just love the butterfly but the leaves and flower are really nice too and my favorite set, A Happy Heart.  Both of these sets, are available only till June 30.

For this card, I have used Faux Silk technique, a quick and easy but a WOW technique. In person, it really does look like fabric.

Flying the coop

well, leaving us anyway.  That's right, A Little Birdie told me, is gone in four more days, along with the Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. 

 For this card, I embossed  Aluminum Foil with my Big Shot and the texture plates.  This texture Weave, looks like wire to me so I thought it went well with a bird, like a cage,  Circle Scissor Plus was used for the circles and the Scallop Oval and Large Oval for the sentiment.  What about those little cupcakes, aren't they cute, they are from Short and Sweet.

Retiring set, that is.  If the Halo Fits, 114988 is a seven piece set with really nice word groups.  I have used one of the groups on this card.

I have used all retiring papers on the card as well.  Pink Pirouette cardstock and Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  Love the ribbon, Pretty in Pink Taffetta, one of the easiest tying ribbon for me.
