My little sweetie loves to dance!  My Digital Studio is a great way to make a scrapbook page, quick and easy.

Another easy MDS page

I mean with such wonderful templates and a darling  picture, how could you go wrong!

I love the fact that you can edit the templates, I deleted the ALL at the top, added some text and we are done.  Now only if I could clean my kitchen so quickly!

sure makes scrapbooking easy.   I love the fact that I can make a page in minutes, just choose a template and pop in the pictures and we are done, and the best part, no clean up

 This page uses the Free downloads that Stampin' Up gave everyone last month. Add a little journaling and it was done. (Click on the picture to see it bigger). Now that is was easy.

Jewel Case Calendars

Have you seen one of the newer releases from My Digital Studio-Modern Prints Jewel Case Calendar template?  I love this type of calendar, small and so easy to flip a few months ahead to check out future dates.  

There are several options available when you send it in for printing, I chose to send in just the month pages, not the back pages and had it printed on regular paper.  When it arrived, it looked like this,

Each sheet comes with markings so you know where to cut

I cut and attached to matching cardstock

A little MDS

Did you get the last update for My Digital Studio?  It included Tags and since I normally have to make alot of tags each year at Christmas, being able to make tags in MDS really made me happy.  The tag choices are 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 or 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.  I chose the 3 1/4 squares, happy as they come with a hole already punched in them and the tags are printed on both sides.  

I designed the tags using Tags till Christmas and the trees from Holly Jolly Christmas and the bottom banner is from Old St. Nick.  One of the fabulous things about My Digital Studio is the ability to adjust the size of the image, for example, the trees.  Simply highlight then and shrink or expand to meet your needs, change the colours, add drop shadows and you no longer have a flat image.

Everything is done, right down to the personal message.  What did using MDS save me, hours, no cutting of cardstock, no stamping, no clean up and with the bulk pricing that Stampin' Up has now, money . Order soon and you will have them in plenty of time to finish your Christmas wrapping.

My Digital Studio

I must say I do like the Piece of Poison stamp set in the Holiday Mini but how often would I really use it and the images are quite large.  Well My Digital Studio to the rescue, for just $4.95 I purchased the Digital version of the stamp set and I can make the images as big or little as I want.  Well, little is what I needed to put on the front of the envelopes from the Bitty Box & Envelope die.   

 I cut the envelopes using Frightful Sight Designer Series papers and the skelton image is cut down to 1 3/4 x 1 and matted onto a piece of 2 x 1 1/4 coordinating cardstock. The Trick of Treat is punched out with the Word Window punch and layered onto the Modern Label.

Inside the envelope what else but a lovely Ghirardelli chocolate.

These are for my fellow classmates at school, we are studying acupressure so the skelton is perfect!

I am SO impressed!

Yes, I have had My Digital Studio since it came out and finally decided to make a scrapbook and send it in for printing. Now I am not a scrapbooker so to me it seemed too hard to do. Well, all I will say is, if I can do it and it looks this amazing, what could someone who does regular scrapbooking do with this incredible software?  First, you need to decide what you are going to make, I decided a 8 x 8 scrapbook, not too big, not too small.  Think of the pages just a a big card! When I put in my order, I went for the hardcore book with a picture on both the front and the back

 I did not choose a Designer template but decided to go at it alone and fiddled with the layouts, colours etc,added embellishments that I wanted and truthfully, it was easy. Here are a couple of the pages inside the book

 The paper is quality, the colours true

 the binding perfect

The most important thing I think when making a album, page or card in My Digital Studio, make sure you watch your bleed lines.  I double, triple checked my album and every page is perfect, no pictures cut off the edge of the pages or hidden in the binding.  Will I make another, you betcha, now just to find some subjects!
