Sets that made it!

As you know, we are at the end of our Stampin' Up year, so with the new catalogue July 1st, we have some retiring sets as well, but we also have some sets from the minis through out the year, that make it into the new catalogue.  French Foliage, from the holiday mini is one of those sets and that makes me very happy. 

 Since our summer is finally trying to happen, I refuse to make a card with fall tones, so my leaves are beautiful green.  I stamped them on Whisper White and then used my 1 1/4" square punch to punch them out and layered onto a 1 3/8" square of Old Olive.  Notice the  scallop edge, that is the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, just love the delicate scallop that it makes.  And the other tool I used on this card---the Color Spritzer tool (107066) a great tool to use with your markers that gives splatter.

Telltale signs of fall

are the leaves in the driveway, on the lawn, blown around by the wind and of course, in the house tracked in on shoes.  That was my inspiration for this card that I used my new set, French Foliage with it's beautiful leaves.

 Early Expresso, More Mustard and a tap of Cajun Craze and the sentiment from Word Play, all that is required is a stamp for the inside

 but I could not find one that says "When leaves were an adventure, not work".  I guess we could just pretend to be a kid and jump in the neighbour's leaf pile when no one was watching!
