I know I have been hit and miss so far this year with my blog. Between the dreaded winter cold/flu, work and life, my stamping time has suffered. It is so hard to be creative when you feel like you have been run over by a truck, your head is full of cotton and you constantly have to reach for Kleenex! I will say I think(fingers crossed) am finally over it, my hubby on the other hand, got it back again, and this time worst than the last time. But hey, the weather is warming up, it has been 50 for the past two days, the snow is melting and bits of the lawn are showing- yes, I do think that the American groundhogs were right about the six more weeks of winter as much as I wanted to believe the Canadian one that spring was going to be early.
And you know when you haven't made a card for awhile, it is so hard to find your groove, so casing is what I do. This card was cased from Jennifer Hill of Australia, I used her layout, colours, stamp set just changed the DSP
The stamp set Balloon Adventures has great fonts and sentiments and matching framelits so you can really make you card have a lot of pop. I do love Basic Black and Melon Mambo together and add a little silver embossing and you certainly get a wow factor. This card is super simple to make, change the colour of the DSP and make it a masculine card.
