Today's card is another Fancy Fold and of course, more DSP, this time Big Top Birthday.

 My walking companion has her first birthday  while I am away so here is her card. Ok really, she doesn't walk I push her stroller every night!  I wanted something bright and this definitely fits the bill.  Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Shimmery White cardstock.  I stamped all the images in Black Stazon and coloured in using my Aquapainter and ink pads.

It looks like the Northwest is in for a hot sunny weekend, so you bet I am happy.  How about a cute project today, another of Madeline Morcelo's fabulous ideas from INKspirations 4U, a super easy little gift pouch shaped like a Canteen

How adorable is that?  The strap is held on the front with sticky strip and brads and the back just tucks under another circle so easy to  pop a little cello bag of treats or party favors.  I used the Bigz Scallop Circle #2 die and my Big Shot to cut the scallops and my Circle Scissors to cut the front circles and the Beary Best Friends stamp with yes, (SNEAK PEEK) a new Oval punch for the balloon.    Yes, my little nieces are coming for a visit again so got to be a good auntie and make them some special things!

Beary Best Friends

 The little bears in the set, Beary Best Friends, just got to make you smile.  Yes, I used extremely bright colors for this card, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo but the Crumb Cake (Kraft) really helps to tone it down.  I colored the bear with Chocolate Chip watercolor crayon and my blender pen, this is my absolute way of coloring these larger images and if you haven't tried it, do try it, you will be impressed with the results.  I stamped the bear again onto a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and cut out and layer the dress.  Shoes and bow simply colored with markers.  No sentiment on this one, I can add it at anytime.

A perfect card Birthday card for a little guy

  Beary Best Friends is a wonderful set for children's party cards, whether you make invitations or a card for the birthday child.

with both a little boy or girl bear you are prepared.  Today is a card for a little guy using Beary Best Friends, Beary Nice wishes set for sentiments.

This simple brightly layered card uses DSP from Pawsitively Prints (118060) and Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue and Ballet Blue cardstock along with Whisper White.  The images are stamped with Black Stazon and colored with Watercolor Crayons and  my blender pen.  This type of coloring is great for streak free larger images.

No flowers on this card!  Whisper White card base matted with Rich Razzleberry textured cardstock and then panels of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and then a 3 x 3 square of Rich Razzleberry matting the girl bear from Beary Best Friends.

Beary Valentines

For my two wonderful nieces, who love Build a Bear, we have Build a Bear Valentines.  

The background cardstock is run through the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder and does it make the background pop.  For the heart the bears are holding I used the smallest heart from the Heart to Heart punch. The sentiment is from Beary Best Wishes just removing the "I" from the front.

Another simple card

This card has a really easy layout that you can use for any set, not just Beary Best Friends.  Try using one layout and three different stamps and you will be amazed how easy it is to fill your card keeper.  Get prepared for next years anniversaries and birthdays, add a few wedding, thank you, congratulation cards and you are ahead of the game. No pressure and won't your family and friends be surprised to get their birthday cards early or on time?  I know mine are!!!

Beary Best Wishes

  How is this for a little girls Birthday card? These bears are so cute. For this bear, I stamped her onto Kraft cardstock with Black Stazon ink and cut her out.  The shoes and flower are colored with my Melon Mambo marker.  I then stamped her again onto Rose Red DSP and cut out the dress and stuck it on.  The balloon is stamped on Whisper White and then again onto Pretty in Pink with the balloon part cut out and glued to the Whisper White.  The gift bag is stamped on Pretty in Pink, colored with Melon Mambo marker and then cut out and put on her arm, then I glued her to the Whisper White.

 The Melon Mambo card base is toned down with the Pretty in Pink scalloped strip and brightened with the Melon Mambo dotted ribbon.

Yes, yet another reason, why this Mini is so great, so many great products.
