I just love this image from A Flower for All Seasons, perfect for an Easter card. Stamped onto our beautiful Water-colour paper and coloured in using my Aquapainter and ink pads. The Designer Paper is from the Springtime Vintage pack and layered onto a Whisper White base. Notice the Pink Pirouette Scalloped frame around the image, so easy to make with our Scallop Trim corner and Scallop Trim Border punches.

This set is one of my all time favorites, each year I am so happy to see it remains on our current list. A Flower for All Seasons, a four piece set, one for each season.
Since spring is coming (at least I hope so and yes, I know winter just started) I used the spring stamp for today's card
The card base is Peach Parfait along with the ribbon. Then a mat of Whisper White to highlight the Designer Series paper from the Ice Cream Parlour pack, a SAB free item and a bit of Old Olive with the bottom edge scalloped. The image is stamped with Black Stazon onto Whisper White and them colored with my Stampin' Write markers and then layered onto a piece of Peach Parfait.

Perfect for a quick note, a simple card, no sentiment, make it full size or smaller, this layout works any which way. Crumb Cake is a beautiful neutral base which allows the elements of the card to stand out. The So Saffron layer is ran through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder and then wrapped with Old Olive Satin ribbon. The Rose Red flower is made with the Fancy Flower extra large punch (118073) and the image, the cute summer image from A Flower for All Seasons punched with the 1 3/8" circle punch.

refreshed. Sorry for no post yesterday, but I really needed to recharge my batteries. Today I have for you a simple gift, purchase a lovely container at a $$store, fill with candies and make your own labels.
Now I love this set, A Flower for all Seasons with this image being I think my favorite in the set, something about that cute little frog. I stamped him on watercolor paper and colored with my Aquapainter and ink pads using Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Garden and filled the stems with my Old Olive marker. Then I used Not Quite Navy to wash color over the background. Punch out with the 1 3/8" circle punch and then using the Circles #2 die I cut the medium circle in Real Red and the large circle in Wild Wasabi. Add the sentiment from Great Friend using small Tag and Tag punches.

I am so looking forward to Stampin' Up's new Color coach. It is almost like a paint chip book and has cards for each color and on the back of the card, three different combinations. Until then, I am trying things out, like this combo, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and River Rock. What do you think?
I started with the piece of Old Olive DSP from Merry Moments, a definitely Christmas set, but the little flowers are not "too" Christmas in my opinion. This paired beautifully with River Rock and now we need a little bit of punch. Pumpkin PIe to the rescue. The image is from A Flower for All Seasons and the sentiment from Chic Boutique.

Instead of tying a knot or a bow with ribbon, ribbon pleating is easy and just gives a different look.
This card uses Ruby Red Cardstock which is on the retiring list and Ruby Red DSP which is a Level One hostess pack. The card base is Very Vanilla to make a 4 x 4 card and the ribbon, Very Vanilla satin, starts on the left side of the card and then at the edge of the Ruby Red cardstock, I have pleated it by putting a little bit of snail on the ribbon and folding about a 1/2" of ribbon and sticking to the snail, and repeating until the edge of the DSP. The image is from A Flower for All Seasons and is stamped with Black Stazon onto Very Vanilla and colored with markers.A bit of White Gel pen for the dots and dashes finishes it off.

This card is always my "In a Hurry but got to have something that looks nice" card, I think it is the texture that makes it look more than what it really is.
I used Barely Banana for my base and textured layer is ran through the Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder and highlighted with Old Olive Satin Ribbon. Did you notice what I stamped the image on? That's right, from the Mini, Sending Love Notes, Kisses perfect to set off your image. The image, yes, one of my Go To sets, A Flower for All Seasons and colored with markers so again quick and easy. Even when you have just 5 minutes to spare, you can make a nice notecard.

The image is stamped on Whisper White and colored with my Markers. The background is Gable Green that has been run through the Big Shoy with the Perfect Polka Dot impressions folder and then layered onto a Gable Green 4 x 4 square card. The ribbon is Pretty In Pink satin with my fake bow held in place with a button from Playground set.
