Hope you had a lovely weekend and had some beautiful weather- we certainly did and it is only expected to get hotter as the week rolls on.
I was playing with my Envelope Punch board this weekend and made box to gift a chocolate bar, they are so easy to make and do take a cheap simple gift up a notch. Simply measure your chocolate bar, in my case it was 3 x 5 take a look at the chart on the board and find that size. Add 1 1/4" to the size
So checking the chart it say my paper size is 6 3/4 square so add 1 1/4" and now my paper is 8 inches square. Add 1/8" to your first score line so instead of 2 3/4, so score and punch at 2 7/8 and then score and punch again at 3 7/8 and then continue as you would with any envelope, scoring and punching.
Now just decorate the box and you have a great present. I used some retired DSP (I seem to have a bit of it) and then In Colour Watermelon Wonder for a belly band to keep the box closed. The sentiment is from our new Hostess set, Happy Birthday, Everyone and I Silver embossed it to match the beautiful Silver Foil Butterflies.
Check out the butterfly, I used two different Framelits, our Butterflies Thinlits that carried over from the Spring Occasions Mini and then the new Bold Butterfly Framelit for the smaller silver on and in between a Vellum one cut with one of the Butterflies thinlits, so fabulous these sets work together. A couple of Basic Pearls and it is done.
