When you check out the Blendabilities, you will notice a White pen called Color Lifter. It doesn't really "lift" the color just pushes it out of the way. Can you see where I used it on this card? That's right, the diamond pattern on the coffee cosy. I simply drew diagonal lines over my grey coloured cosy, running the lines five times to get the pattern I wanted. I used Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight for my cups and then onto a piece of Hello Honey DSP from the Moonlight DSP stack then onto a piece of Basic Black card to make everything pop. And what about the sentiment tag, that is a new punch from the Holiday Mini, I told you it was filled with fabulous stuff!
my favourite one. The beautiful large bloom of the set is super easy to cut out so it's super easy to make a mask . I finally found some all over sticky Post it Notes at Walmart, and they are simply the best. I stamped the bloom onto the Post it Note, cut it out and from now on will live in the stamp case.
Again I reached for my Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight Blendies, quickly colouring the images. The sentiment is from Wetlands, just a simply great font. A simple Calypso Coral border sets off the image.
from Bloom with Hope, I think it is my favorite Hostess set this year. I used Pool Party for the card base running it through the Big Shot with our Large Polka Dot impressions folder.
The tag is simply a strip of Whisper White and I used our Scallop Tag Topper punch to make it into a pretty tag. Again, I used my Blendies to colour the flowers, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Calypso Coral. As with any Alcohol marker, you need to use a water based in and now Stampin' Up is carrying Momento Tuxedo Black ink, a great ink for perfectly crisp images everytime. And the sentiment, just where did I find it- it is Stampin' Up and it is one of the stamps from the Photopolymer set, Countless Sayings 2.

Wow, has the summer flown by for you too? We have been so fortunate this year to have such a glorious summer, sunny and warm, just the way I like it. And with the beautiful weather, beautiful flowers-----in other peoples gardens, not mine! But I can make beautiful flowers
This beautiful bloom is from the Hostess set, Bloom with Hope. I coloured it with our new Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. I will say the Blendies are fabulous. I wasn't too excited about them to start as I have some Copics but, once I tried them, I am sold. They are so much cheaper than Copics ($15.95 for a three pack) compared to $7.50 for a Copic. Each set comes with a light, medium and dark shade of Stampin' Up's exclusive colours. Did you notice the background of the card, yes, those are little stars- just a sneak peek for you out of our upcoming Holiday catalogue that starts August 28th. It's one of the latest Impressions folders. The sentiment is from Hip Notes.
for two months when you sign up by September 10th.
And let me tell you, the Paper Pumpkin kits just keep getting better and better. I showed you last months kit (it came with a full roll of White Satin ribbon. This month's kit has cards and envelopes and if you sign up, September is great little burlap bags to decorate for Halloween.
Or this one
Check out this months video to see what you are missing! Paper Pumpkin, thirty minutes of YOU time-how great is that!
This cute set has only two sentiments, but they are fabulous sentiments- You're a Star and I "heart" U. What perfect sentiments to put on cards to pop in your kids or hubby's lunch box. These cute little cards I cased from fellow demonstrator, Dawn O, super cute using our Star framelits for added pizzazz.Using the matching punches set I punched out the little stars and attached them on top of the framelit.
If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know I love any Flower stamp set and Flower Patch is no exception. But what makes this set better is..... you can get the matching Framelits, Flower Fair and cut out those beautiful blooms perfectly.
This set is a big set, 19 sets and a few of the images are larger. It is also a photopolymer set which means layering the images is easy. I used Blackberry Bliss and Melon Mambo inks for the flowers, stamping off one to get the lighter shade of each. You can get just the set or buy it as a bundle and save 15%
TIP: When using the larger images from this set, place your cardstock onto our Stampin' Pierce Mat or a foam mouse pad in order to get a clean crisp image.
I used Moonlight DSP pack again and rounded all the corners with our new Project Life corner rounder
set I fell in love with in the Holiday Catalogue, Patridge & Pears and since I started playing with it, I just can't get the song out of my head!!!
This image is super easy to colour and I finally broke down and got a few sets of our Blendabilities with my last order. I will say they are fabulous, so easy to colour with and most importantly, no streaks. I am just playing with them right now, not really worrying out shading yet but there is a bit on the pears and a few of the leavess. After a few leaves, I just thought, they are so small, one colour is just perfect. Our Blendies come in colour combos, a light, a medium and a dark of one colour so no guess work required and they match our cardstock beautifully. The berries are coloured with my Real Red marker. The background DSP is the same as the other day from the new Santa & Co pack and the card base is Mossy Meadow, just a beautiful colour.
Sentiment that comes with the set and another pear.
