Happy Halloween

Ok, maybe I got carried away, not quite sure.  I got so many positive comments on those broomsticks the other day, I just had to make more!  And well, I went and bought the unbleached coffee filters for these ones but since I was going to be making a few, I changed the tag to make them faster to make

What do you think?  Isn't that little witch perfect?  She is from Spooky Bingo Bits and I stamped her using Black Stazon and punched her out using my 1" circle punch.  Next, using our new Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker from the mini, I inked up the sentiment from Bootiful Occasions  and stamped it onto Basic Black, Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry.  Using our 2 3/4" Scallop Circle I punched it out, attached the witch with Tombow Multi ( I will say that it is my favorite glue), tied the coffee filters on with Linen thread and attached the tag, then using our Mini gluedots attached the lttle Old Olive 1/8" Taffetta bow.  

I think these will put a smile on a few faces!

Super cute, super easy treat basket for a child.  I used our Fancy Favour die and some Houndtooth & Scaringbone DSP then punches for the face,  How easy is that?  

Whisper White Ornament punch ran through the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Impressions folder, the Blossom Petals builder punch for the beak using Tangerine Tango and the eyes are made using the 1/2", 3/4" 1" and 1 3/8" circle punches.

Q&A Q: I love the ornament featured on the front of the Holiday catalogue. How do I make it? A: That ornament is all the rage in the stampin’ world! It takes a bit of time, but is actually pretty simple to do. And it makes a great gift.  Here’s how! SUPPLIES:  • Ornament Keepsake stamp set (#128048 wood, #128051 clear) • Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies (#127816) • Big Shot (#113439) • Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Pad (#126966) • Old Olive Classic Ink Pad (#126953) • Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) • Simply Scored Scoring Tool (#122334) • 1-3/8” Circle Punch (#119860) • 3-1/2” Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (#127841) • Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) • Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (#127555) • Large Pearl Basic Jewels (#125577) • Linen Thread (#104199) • 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon or other ribbon for hanging ornament • Rosette Die (#125594) • Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper (#126901) • Silicone Craft Sheet (#127853) • Bone Folder (#102300) • Hot Glue Gun and Glue Step 1: Stamp 20 of the larger ornament images on Very Vanilla card stock with Old Olive ink. Cut out with the coordinating Holiday Ornaments Framelits Die using the Big Shot. Stamp 20 of the small ornament images on Very Vanilla card stock with Cherry Cobbler ink. Cut out with the coordinating Holiday Ornaments Framelits Die using the Big Shot. Score 15 of each ornament in half from top to bottom using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Fold in half along the score line.  Step 2: Use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere three of the scored ornaments together. Adhere one half of the first ornament lined up with one half of the next ornament and then do the same with the third ornament. Leave one half of the first and last ornaments un-glued. Repeat the steps until you have created 5 sets of the 3-ornament groupings in each ornament style. Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the halves of the first and last ornaments in the 3-ornament grouping. Adhere to the back of an un-scored ornament of the same style. Repeat for all 5 sets of each style.  Step 3: Punch a circle from scrap card stock using the 1-3/8” Circle Punch. Place the circle on the Silicone Craft Sheet. Add a line of hot glue around the edge of the circle. Position the necks of the larger Old Olive ornaments, flat side down, evenly around the circle. Press into the hot glue. Use the Bone Folder to avoid burning yourself. Nest the smaller ornaments with the larger ornaments. To finish up, add Tulle Ribbon and linen thread, and create a rosette to add to the center of the ornament with the clear button using hot glue. Punch a hole for ribbon at the top. Optional: Add Dazzling Details Stampin’ Glitter or Champaign Shimmer Mist to add sparkle to the finished ornament.

Monster Munchies

Well with a Skull and Crossbones on the front are you really sure you want to munch?

These little treat holders are made from the Petitie Pocket die with a couple of additional score lines.  The image holds the box top down

Sparkling Bubbles

What better for a celebration than sparkling glasses filled with bubbly!  The wine glasses from Embellished Events is perfect for an anniversary card, don't you think?  The bubbles highlighted with our self adhesive rhinestones add extra bling.

I love making cards like this, super quick and easy but still look classy. A simple strip of Lucky Limeade DSP, a punched Lucky Limeade Scallop circle with a Whisper White 1 3/4" circle ran through the Big Shot with our Spiderweb impressions folder and then the wine glasses stamped by using our new Silver Stampin' Dazzle markers directly onto the rubber, stamped and cleaned up beautifully.

They have been flying around the internet

and they have landed here too!  Flying brooms that is what we are talking about, they started at Founder's Circle and have been making the rounds on lots of blogs, I just had to give them a try. 

And look by the time they got to my blog, they are clean.  Yep, I had just bought coffee filters when the brooms started making their appearance so mine use white filters instead of the unbleached ones but hey, maybe they are mops now!  And just what are they hiding?  Tootsie pops.

I used the stamp set, Bootiful Occasions, perfect for this project, stamping the boot with Black Stazon and cutting it out and layering it onto the Tangerine Tango Scalloped circle.

Perfect little treats for those sucker lovers!

Another easy Halloween treat pack

using our Fancy Favor die, I ran the Houndtooth & Scaringbone DSP through the Big shot, and then attached a Tangerine Tango Labels Framelit that I stamped with the greeting from Mosnter Munchies.

The little owl is alos from Monster Munchies allows the Framelit to tuck under to hold it closed.

Getting ready

Well, with fall definitely here, rain, wind and cold, you know Halloween is just around the corner.  I spend the weekend having fun making special little treat holders for some special people in my life.  Here is one that is super easy with the help of our Simply Scored board.  I used a 4 1/2 x 9 piece of Houndstooth & Scaringbone DSP scoring every 1" on the long side and then at 1 1/2" on the short side.  Simply cut at each score line up to the 1 1/2" mark, burnish your score lines, a little Sticky Strip and voila, a perfect cup for holding a little bag of treats.

I wrapped a piece of Tangerine Tango 1/@" Scalloped Dotted ribbon around it and then used Dimensionals to attach Frankie.  The top of the medium Cello bag is held closed with another fun stamp from Monster Munchies

Yep, those are Old Olive brads on each side acting as those screws- thanks Shannon for sharing that idea.
